I was listening to a podcast related to language and an expert called Andrew Humb was talking about the importance or learning a new language and or a new skill to our brain! our brain is basically made with connections and within those connections thoughts and motor skills are developed, and when we are learning a new skill in his example a new language, our brain automatically begins to enhance and strenghten our neurological pathways related to language, speech and thoughts thus enabling us to be more pro active in our day to day communication and even in our own mother language vocab! since by learning another words you enhance your mother tongue grammar as well
