Lucy: Hey, Andrew! Welcome back!
Andrew: Hi, Lucy! Thanks!
Lucy: Where did you go on holiday?

Andrew: I went to this fantastic place with my parents. It's a small city called Pucon.
Lucy: How interesting! I've never heard of this place before. Where is it?
Andrew: It's in the south of Chile. It's a bit far from the capital, Santiago.
Lucy: Was it difficult to get there?
Andrew: Well, it was quite a long journey. First, we flew to Santiago. Then, we took another flight to Temuco.
In Temuco, we rented a van and drove to Pucon. It was a two hour drive to our final destination.
Lucy: How was it there? Did you have a good time?
Andrew: We had a great time. The best of my life, I guess.
Lucy: Really, Andrew, why is that? What did you do there?
Andrew: Firstly, because the city is located around a beautiful lake called Villarica. Secondly, we went to
Pucon to climb the most active volcano in South America - the Villarica.
Lucy: Wow, this is very exciting and terrifying, I guess. How was that?
Andrew: It was very difficult because there was a lot of snow and we had to walk on ice. However, when
we got to the top of the volcano, we saw the most beautiful view you can think of. You could
see all the
mountains and frozen lakes. You feel like you are literally on the top of the world, really. It
was
amazing for
my dad and I. My mom found it too hard and wasn't able to make it to the top though.
Lucy: Oh, what do you mean? What happened?
Andrew: I guess mom wasn't fit enough. She gave up climbing on the first two hours. It took us seven
hours to make it to the top. It was exhausting.
Lucy: Wow, that sounds really hard! That's great you were able to make it all the way to the top, Andrew!
Now, come on, show me all the photos, I'm dying to see them!
Andrew: Sure thing! I have lots of photos and videos to show you. Come on, take a look at this! This is
the lake Villarica, in the background you can see the Volcano.
